Name: Kaldo Gehenna
Door: Door Pass - Submissive

Canon: Mashle: Magic and Muscles
Canon Point: after season 2 episode 20

Age: 27
Appearance: here

History: wiki
CR AU (Optional): N/A

Personality:
+ Intelligent: Kaldo is incredibly intelligent and good at strategy. As a Divine Visionary, he would have been expected to be the top of his class in school, suggesting that he's both very book smart and capable when it comes to using magic. He's also often shown at Walhberg's side, explaining battle strategies. Kaldo is also exceptionally good at picking up on people's talents and helping them use those talents in the best way. He's able to look at Finn's teleportation magic and determine that it's able to be used for healing by teleporting things at the cell level (though the way he trains him is a little unorthodox).

Kaldo also is one of the few people able to figure out that Mash is just naming his attacks like spells, not using actual spells. He's able to see the strategies Mash uses where other people are not.

- Ruthless: Like many Divine Visionaries, Kaldo is ruthless on the battlefield. Kaldo shows no mercy in his fighting and is capable of defeating many enemies at once. He is one of the more physically strong Divine Visionaries, shown when he is able to turn the Wind-Up Key of Life where others are unable. Kaldo uses his strength to cut down his enemies relentlessly.

However, his ruthlessness shows off of the battlefield, too, particularly when he is testing students to determine their worth. This is shown when he tests Mash with his "You Look, You Lose" game, making the game deadly to play. His reasoning for making the game deadly is in part to see how serious Mash is, but also in part just because playing such games amuses him. His ruthlessness shows in other ways as well, such as how quick he is to shoot others down with his words when they're being foolish.

- Traditional: While traditional isn't always bad, in Kaldo's instance it represents a close-mindedness that comes with people of power in his world. Lackmagics, or people born without magic, are killed to keep the status quo. The more power someone has, the better they're regarded by others. Kaldo subscribes to this worldview, and as such, has a traditional viewpoint of the current power structure. When Mash first appears, Kaldo doubts that he can amount to anything and even goes so far as to agree with Orter that he should be killed to keep the peace of the world. He's quoted as saying, "I'm sure you mean well, but opinions don't change the rules," showing that he's rule driven and agrees with their traditional society.

- Manipulative: Kaldo is not above manipulating people to get them to do what he wants. He uses his position and powers to make people comply. For instance, Mash originally refuses to play a game with him, and Kaldo insists that because he's a Divine Visionary, Mash has no choice. He offers Mash a pass in the current competition if he is able to beat him, knowing Mash will be unable to refuse because of how desperate he is.

Powers and Abilities: Kaldo is a double-liner, which means he's a powerful magic user. He's capable of basic magic used by everyone in his canon, as well as his own personal magic which is fire/heat based. Kaldo is one of the few magic users we see use magic without a wand, suggesting that he's incredibly skilled. He's also a skilled swordsman.

Basic Magic: Basic magic is something that everyone in Kaldo's universe can wield, so long as they're born with at least one mark/line on their face. It's capable of simple things, like levitation and basic attacks. The spells shown in the series are as follows:

Levitation Spell: A object lifting spell, basically telekinesis.
Disclose: A magical door/gate revealing spell.
Nalcos: A basic attack spell. Compresses the user's magic into a ball and fires it at the enemy.
Opti Ars: A lock opening spell.
Quientus: A sleep inducing spell.
Transportation Spell: A teleportation spell. This would be nerfed in Duplicity so they couldn't leave the city.
Transeez: A transformation spell. Only capable of transforming small objects and small animals.
Telepath: A animal communication spell.

It's also implied that they can light fires with their magic, as Ryoh asks Mash to light a flame without magic to prove that he's as good as magic users.

Personal Magic: Kaldo's personal magic is flame/heat based. He can summon heat energy into beams and attack with it.
Inventory: encchanted sword (fancy sword that's on fire all the time), wand, and a jar of honey
